PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of nonfired agglomerated ore in a blast furnace and to perform the stabilization of blast-furnace operation and the improvement of productivity.;SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the nonfired agglomerated ore with excellent degradation resistance, a binder which sets by hydration reaction and water are added to an iron-containing raw material to undergo mixing and the resultant mixture is agglomerated and then cured. In this manufacturing method, the above nonfired agglomerated ore is dried in the course between the finishing of the curing and charging into the blast furnace to reduce the content of free water in the nonfired agglomerated ore to ≤2 mass%, preferably ≤1 mass%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
