PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-alloy material which is an excess Si type 6000 series Al-alloy material having room-temperature aging controllability and excellent low-temperature age hardenability and combines various properties, such as press formability and hemming property required for various purposes.;SOLUTION: This Al-Mg-Si type aluminum-alloy material has a composition containing 0.4-1.3% Si, 0.4-1.2% Mg, 0.01-0.65% Mn and 0.001-1.0% Cu and satisfying Si/Mg≥1. In the differential scanning thermogram after refining treatment including solution heat treatment and hardening treatment for the aluminum- alloy material, the negative heat absorption peak height at 150-250°C corresponding to the melting of Si/vacancy cluster (GP II) is ≤1,000 μW; and the positive heat generation peak height at 250-300°C corresponding to the precipitation of Mg/Si cluster (GP I) is ≤2,000 μW.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
