PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for root canal filling use excellent in filling operability in treating the root canal in dentistry, dentin adhesion and root canal sealability, having X-ray contrastradiographic capability, and easily removable after cured when needed to make a treatment again, and to provide a kit including the composition. SOLUTION: This composition for root canal filling use comprises monomer(s), i.e., methyl methacrylate and/or ethyl methacrylate, a polymer, i.e., at least one selected from the group consisting of methyl methacrylate homopolymer, ethyl methacrylate homopolymer, copolymer of methyl methacrylate and ethyl methacrylate and copolymer of styrene and methyl methacrylate or ethyl methacrylate, in the form of spherical microparticles 1-30 m in average size, with a molecular weight of 50,000-300,000 and having no crosslinks, a polymerization catalyst consisting of a trialkylborane or an oxide thereof, and an X-ray contrast medium. The other objective kit for root canal filling use comprises the above composition and a point with neither penetrability into nor adhesivity to the composition.
