PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raisin or dried plum food useful as a health food.;SOLUTION: This food is produced by steaming a dried food (dried fruit) such as raisin or dried plum produced by being dried or exposed to the sun so as to make each fruit absorb water content to expand or enlarge. This food has the following advantages: the sweetness of steamed dried fruit is more excessively increased than that of non-steamed fruit, in particular, the sweetness degree of steamed dried plum is excessively increased; this food allows even a person having the bad teeth to easily eat without remaining fruit particles between the teeth unlike dried fruit because of absorbing water content to be enlarged and softened so as to become easy to eat; the steamed dried fruit still holds the whole nutrition as such contained in the non-steamed fruit, and is reconstituted into the ripen state, increased in its sweetness, softened so as to be easy to eat; this steamed dried fruit is convenient because of being eatable as it is without removing its peel, seeds or the like; and this steamed dried fruit is eatable as a fruit with peculiar flavor and taste by soaking it in liquor or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
