PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nerve-regenerating medicinal composition containing bone marrow stromal cell-derived Schwann cells, and to provide a method for differentiating/inducing bone marrow stromal cells into the bone marrow stromal cell-derived Schwann cells. SOLUTION: This method for differentiating/inducing the bone marrow stromal cells into the bone marrow stromal cell-derived Schwann cells in vitro includes the following steps: a step for collecting the bone marrow stromal cells from the bone marrow and culturing the cells in a culture medium prepared by adding blood serum to a standard basal culture medium; another step for adding a reducing agent to the cultured medium solution and further culturing the solution; a third step for adding an differentiation-inducing agent to the cultured medium solution and further culturing the solution; and the other step for adding a cyclic adenosine monophosphate (AMP)-increasing medicine or a AMP analogue and/or a glia cell-differentiating/surviving factor to the cultured medium solution and further culturing the solution so as to obtain the bone mallow stromal cell-derived Schwann cells.
