PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a wide space all the year round with requirement of almost no energy cost such as cost for electric power and easily realize a cooling chamber capable of maintaining cold-storage of a wine tank or the like all the year round, by simply opening and closing a roof to easily store snow on the roof by use of the inclination of the roof, and enabling a large quantity of hard-to-melt snow to be automatically and simply stored. ;SOLUTION: The cooling apparatus is constituted by providing the roof 1 in such a manner as to be capable of freely opened and closed, providing a closable opening 2 at a halfway part or an end of the inclination of the roof 1, providing below the opening 2 a snow storing part 4 for storing a large amount of snow 3 falling from accumulated snow 3A on the roof 1 along the inclination of the roof, providing the cooling chamber 5 provided adjacent to or in connection with the snow storing part 4 in a ventilating state so that a cooling object 6 in the cooling chamber 5 can be cooled and stored by cold of the stored snow 3B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
