PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breeding method utilizing the recent molecular-biological technology without utilizing a gene recombination method and to provide a tool therefor, namely to provide a method for raising a new kind crop by finding out a transposon from a plant and utilizing the found transposon, while conventional methods for raising new kind crops have serious defects accompanying very long periods and huge labors and are improved by the recent advanced gene recombination technology which is encountered with strong opposition from consumers.;SOLUTION: The method for raising the new kind crop comprises at least utilizing for the improvement of the kind crop a gene modification characterized by the transfer reaction of the transposon originally existing in a plant, and/or finding out the transposon therefor, and/or inducing the transfer of the transposon.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
