PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pocket-type falling rock preventive construction method, which improves the impact resistance and safety of a net.;SOLUTION: The net comprises longitudinal and latitudinal ropes and a shock absorbing part (metal fitting) 1 is provided on each latitudinal rope 31 in a position between the net and the ground. Also, a shock absorbing part (metal fitting) 64 is provided on the supporting rope 61 of a support 52 in a position between the support 52 and the ground. Upon receiving an impact, the ropes 31 and 61 absorb the impact force as they stretch.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
