PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an initial error generated in a leak inspection device.;SOLUTION: Concerning an error correction method of the leak inspection device wherein a sealing tool is pressed onto the opening part of an inspection object and an air pressure is applied to the inspection object and a master tank in the state where the inspection object is hermetically sealed and generation of the pressure difference is detected between the inspection object and the master tank to thereby determine existence of a leak in the inspection object, this initial error correction method of the leak inspection device has such an added characteristic that a simulative leak is generated on the master tank side and that the leak quantity is gradually reduced at every repeated inspection time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
