PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service to inform a customer of performance of a Web server to be operated by the customer and to store history.;SOLUTION: This performance monitoring system 1 for the Web server is provided with a customer operation server 20 with which the Internet 10 is connected, an end user 30 and a performance monitoring service center 40. The performance monitoring service center 40 has a performance monitoring server 50, accesses a log 24, a data base 22 of the customer operation server 20 by a contract, analyzes its contents, monitors the performance of the customer server, informs the customer of its result and stores the history.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
