PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the circuit scale from becoming large and speed up the process.;SOLUTION: The nonlinear quantizer 1 comprises power calculation means 2, 3 for power calculation based on a mantissa, a base and a decimal exponent to obtain a solution and converts analog signals X into discrete signals I by utilizing power calculation means 2, 3 for at least a part of the process.
