METHOD OF REDUCING AT LEAST ONE OF RRO, RFV, AND AVV OF TIRE/RIM ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD OF REDUCING AT LEAST ONE OF LFV, LRO, AND DIFFERENCE IN RRO BETWEEN RIGHT AND LEFT SHOULDER PARTS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the RRO of a tire/rim assembly by a simple operation. SOLUTION: A PRO is measured under two types of conditions with different variation amounts by varying the center-to-center distances of bead cores partly in circumferential direction, 1 to Nth components are calculated by Fourier- transforming a difference in measured values between two types of conditions, and the sensitivity of the measured values against the varied amounts of the center-to-center distances of the bead cores of 1 to Nth components. The RRO of the tire/rim assembly for improving uniformity is measured and Fourier- transformed to calculate 1 to Nth components. The center-to-center distances of the bead cores for reducing the RRO are calculated based on the RRO1 to Nth components and sensitivity of the tire/rim assembly for improving uniformity. The 1 to Nth components of the RRO can be reduced by sticking a spacer 22 corresponding to the calculated values on the inside of a rim flange 16.
