TWO MICRON TYPE VECTOR CAPABLE OF MAINTAINING HIGH COPY NUMBER UNDER NON-SELECTIVE PRESSURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for imparting high temperature resistance and ethanol resistance to yeast, Saccharomvces cerevisiae, and producing metabolites such as ethanol as a typical example or foreign proteins with a transformant under a non-selective pressure. SOLUTION: Metabolites such as ethanol as the typical example or the foreign proteins are produced under the non-selective pressure by using a transformant of 2 micron type plasmid vector highly expressing LSA17 gene or a transformant of a vector obtained by cloning the gene of a foreign protein to the aforesaid vector.
