PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precoated aggregate, which has good adhesion to an asphalt mixture and is prevented from being firmly fixed to or consolidated with another precoated aggregate during storage or transport, and a method which allows the precoated aggregate to be advantageouly manufactured with good economy and workability.;SOLUTION: The precoated aggregate for a rolled construction method is manufactured by applying a tackifier resin emulsion to a surface of the aggregate, drying it and form a coating layer. The precoated aggregate is sprayed onto a non-rolled pavement surface, which is formed by laying and leveling off the heated asphalt mixture, and pushed in by rolling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
