PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the conversion circuit of an AC-DC converter for reducing the number of parts used therein, reduce the size, weight, and cost thereof as compared with conventional converters, to enhance the total performance, including efficiency, thereof as a bidirectional DC-AC converter, and make the conversion circuit applicable to a variety of uses, including DC-AC inverters for photovoltaic power generation and fuel cell power generation as well as various inverters, amplifier circuits, and main circuits of various converters.;SOLUTION: A high-frequency isolation transformer T1 comprises two basic circuits, a primary circuit and a secondary circuit. The primary circuit 1 is constituted as choke-input voltage resonance type which uses an input choke L1 and a plurality of primary-side switches Q1 and Q2. The secondary circuit 2 is constituted of a bidirectional switch 3 comprising a plurality of switches S1 and S2, a resonance capacitor C1, and an output filter comprising an output choke L2 and an output capacitor C2. A plurality of the primary-side switches in the primary circuit 1 are constituted as a bridge circuit and a half-bridge circuit. The switches, composing the two-way switch 3 in the secondary circuit 2, are constituted as a bridge circuit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
