CONTENTS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR MANAGING CONTENTS RESERVATION, AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR CONTENTS RESERVATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to instantly distribute contents when required distribution of them, even if reservation has not been made, in spite of the need for the reservation of a time band in advance. ;SOLUTION: In spite of reservation of a distribution channel and a use time band is required before a predetermined time for contents distribution, even if such a reservation has not been made, reservation of predetermined time including current time is performed via an available channel at the current time when an instant distribution reservation request is received from a user PC 4. Subsequently, a reservation setting information file related to the reservation is transmitted to the user PC 4, and the reservation data are transmitted to a server use reservation management center 5. Finally, contents, which are received from the user PC 4 according to the reservation setting information file, can be instantly distributed by a streaming server 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
