A resin composition for producing a molded article having a surface which has an appearance of a non-woven fabric, which comprises fiber piles of a carbonized polyacrylonitrile having a nitrogen content of 10% by weight or more, a size of 1 to 15 denier and a length of 0.1 to 1 mm.
