MULTIFUNCTIONAL TESTING INSTRUMENT FOR QUALITY CONTROL IN X-RAY DIAGNOSTICS

The instrument is designed for fast control of the state of equipment for X-ray-graphy and -scopy, for target photography and for therapeutic simulators. It is fitted on the patient's place and, by means of the built-in groups of test objects, and in the presence of a dosimeter, densimeter and sensimeter, by only two exposures, are tested the precision of the aperture system and the light viewfinder, the orthogonal position of the central X-ray beam to the mass, changes in the beam discharge, time of exposure and the anode voltage, change in the contrast and the resolution of the image, and analysis of the reasons is made. Control is also performed on the process of development and the exponome of instruments with automatic data selection. The instrument can also be used for research purposes, when a suitable phantom is built-in for testing the changes in the qualitative image characteristics. 4 claims, 2 figures
