PLANT FOR PRODUCING INERT FOAM, PREVENTION AND EXTINGUISHING OF MINE FIRES

The plant is used for producing hard foam (thermoplastic) and gasomechanical foam and for the prevention and extinguishing of endogenous fires originating in the coal seams. By it extinguishing is more effective, and aerosol solution costs are being reduced. The plant is light-weight, compact, manoeuvrable and highly productive. It consists of a pneumatic motor (1) coupled to two pumps (2 & 3) and connected by an air duct (4) and control and adjustment unit (5) for a compressor or a compressed air main pipeline. By an intake (7) and delivery (13) pipeline the first pump (2) is connected to first vessel (9) containing the operation solution of the foam machine and a foam-mixing gun (16) which, by mean of an outlet pipeline (17) and the end pipeline (10) is connected to second pump (3) and second vessel (12), respectively, the latter containing a solution for solid foam. 3 claims, 2 figures
