EQUIPMENT FOR OBTAINING RIGID AND GAS-MECHANICAL FOAM, PREVENTION AND EXTINGUISHMENT OF MINE FIRES

The equipment serves for obtaining rigid polymer and/or gas-mechanical foam, as well as for preventing and extinguishing endogenous and exogenous fires in coal seams. Its structure is mobile, efficient and safe in extinguishing fires in areas difficult of access. The equipment consist of a pneumatic motor (1), a first pump (2) and a second pump (3) mounted on a common frame (4), the pneumatic motor (1) being located in a bearing sealing body (5), while the mechanical joint (10) embodied in the form of a rigid joint is placed in the bearing sealing body (5) too. The pneumatic motor (1) is coupled also through a blast air duct (6) to a gas bottle (7), and through an outlet blast air duct (24) û to the front part (20) of the mixing pistol (23). The first pump (2) is connected through an intermediate suction pipe (12) to a first vessel (14) containing working solution of the foaming agent, while through the intermediate pressure pipe (18) it is connected to the front part (20) of the mixing pistol (23). The second pump (3) is connected through an end suction pipe (15) to a second vessel (17) containing working solution, and through the intermediate pressure pipe (19) it is connected to the rear or to the front part (20) through an additional pressure pipe (32). In the rear part of the mixing pistol (23) there is fastened a pressure stub pipe (28) with a flexible hose (29) pulled over it, such hose ending with an outlet stub pipe (30).
