In the present invention, there is disclosed a bending head intended for bending automatic machine comprising a longitudinal bed (1) provided with positioning and clamping device (2), wherein the head comprises a bending arm (31) with an adjustable bending strip (33) that is provided with a shaped groove (312) for material to be bend and that is coupled with a drive (4) wherein the drive (4) can be coupled with a control device of the bending automatic machine. In a first embodiment of the bending head, said bending strip (33) can be lifted off in radial direction from a bending pin (30)-bending arm (31) system, whereby it is provided with a skew bearing surface (313) for a control pulley (314) that is mounted on an output member (315) the control drive (316). The control drive (316) being mounted on a holder (302) of the bending arm (31) is coupled with the control device of the bending automatic machine. In the bending head second embodiment, said bending strip (33) is slidably mounted on a guide, whereby a lever mechanism (310) couples it with the control drive (316).
