A pen tip for traditionally or Halachikly writing Jewish Scripture on processed kosher hide, or klof, comprising: (a) an exposed split inclined straight sharp edge having smooth under side, serrated top side, width in a range of between about 0.5 mm to about 2.5 mm, length in a range of between about 0.1 mm to about 1.5 mm, thickness in a range of between about 0.1 mm to about 1.0 mm, and split of width in a range of between about 10 microns to about 500 microns, for contacting writing side surface of the processed kosher hide during the traditionally writing the Jewish Scripture, extending from furthermost inclined distal end of a split spine, said edge lies on a split inclined plane relative to a split latitudinal plane of said split spine, and said edge inclines by an angle of inclination formed between said edge and said latitudinal plane of said split in a range of between about 5 degrees to about 60 degrees; (b) a straight channel for providing passageway to flowing ink during writing featuring two channel openings, wherein distal channel opening of said two channel openings is located at a position along distal end of said edge, said channel longitudinally extending from said distal channel opening along entire length of said split spine contiguous with a convex reservoir for holding said ink, until reaching proximal channel opening of said two channel openings meeting and continuous with a hole for holding additional said ink, said hole located at a position within said convex reservoir; and (c) a base contiguous with proximal end of said convex reservoir for connecting the pen tip to an article for holding the pen tip. 3634 כ" ו בכסלו התשס" ג - December 1, 2002
