The [1:1] maleate salt of [R-(Z)]-1-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-3-one-O-[3-(3- methoxyphenyl)-2-propynyl]-oxime, a known muscarinic agonist has unique properties relative to other salts of the compound, rendering it a desirable pharmaceutical for reducing pains and for treatment of cognitive defects in mammals.
