摘要

Invention relates to the electrophysical methods of application of wear-resistant coatings via electrical discharge, in particular, application of coatings of increased strength on the working surfaces of parts in the heavy machine building and in the field of transportation. The method of application of wear-resistant coatings on the working surface of railway rails provides for the connection of rail and electrode to the electrical circuit, giving to the electrode of reciprocal motion along the working surface of article with simultaneous supply of electric pulses through the electrode and creation of coating in the form of discrete-mosaic layer. In this case, at first are formed the fragments of the layer of resistance to plastic deformations, and then the layer of alloying material is formed without supply of electric pulses and then the fragments of tribotechnical layer are formed. The fragments of the layer of resistance to plastic deformations are formed with the help of electrode with hardness exceeding the hardness of material, from which is manufactured the article. The fragments of tribotechnical layer are formed using an electrode made of nonferrous metal with low constant of friction, and the electrode made of the metal, viscosity of which exceeds the viscosity of material, from which is manufactured the article. Depth and continuity of fragments of tribotechnical layer and layer of resistance to plastic deformations during their formation are determined according to the value of operating load, in this case the total continuity of discrete coating of one strip must not exceed 70 %, and for obtaining the same continuity of coating of entire working surface of its article it is applied strip after the strip using a device of transverse electrode travel. It allows to increase the operational reliability of the working surfaces of parts in case of change of operating loads over a wide range.
