FIELD: coating of metal materials.SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for application of wear-resistant coatings on working surface of soil-cutting components of soil-cultivating machines using fusion welding. Points of wear-resistant filler material of higher density than that of part metal located at distance from each other along lines of reinforcement of parallel cutting edge of part are made by means of arc welding. Distance from the cutting edge of the part to the reinforcement line of the blade surface is set equal to the sharpening width of the working face having compression stress. Distance between parallel reinforcement lines is not more than three diameters of points of wear-resistant material. Points of wear-resistant material with thickness of layer of 2–4 mm are located at a distance from each other with provision of overlapping of gaps of the main metal between adjacent points of parallel reinforcement lines in direction of cutting edge of the part in staggered order and obtaining a heat-affected zone on the main metal of the working surface with width of not more than 0.2 diameters of the point of the wear-resistant material.EFFECT: due to uniform immersion of working surface of soil-cutting parts, the method provides reduced rate of its wear in active friction zone of near-surface contact layer of compacted soil.1 cl, 2 dwg
