The sound diffusion system includes a large horn unit (10) made from brickwork and prefabricated cement elements assembled on-site. An architectural structure (21) with a continuous or intermittent multi-hemicylindrical surface covers the walls (20) of the room, for the diffusion/reflection of the sound in a broad band of frequencies and with adjustable absorption at least at low frequencies. An independent claim is also included for a method of providing a sound diffusion system.
