The electrochemical process is for obtaining mixed material comprising a conductive polymer and an inorganic salt. It involves the electrochemical polymerization of a monomer (pyrrole, thiophene, aniline, etc.) in a solution in an organic dissolvent, aqueous or a mixture of both, employing as salts capable of supporting the current for dissolution inorganic Keggin salts. By submerging a metal in this type of dissolvent and with the introduction of an anodic current, a mixed material is generated comprising an insoluble material comprised by molecules of the Keggin salt trapped in the polymeric matrix and an electro-soluble material.
