摘要
The conversion of waste organic polymers into useful hydrocarbons comprises pyrolysis, with melting in a stirred vessel at 250-350 degrees C and transfer to a reactor for covering with lead at 500-600 degrees C. Also claimed is apparatus implementing the process. CLAIMED APPARATUS - The apparatus passes the metal via trays (23) to a boiler (18) for recycling. The metal is fed e.g. via a variable magnetic field. EMBODIMENT - The vapour from pyrolysis is condensed as hydrocarbons, and the carbon and the non-pyrolysable impurities float on the lead and are removed periodically.
