A method and system for the conversion of asset equity to insurancecoverage. The method includes the steps of calculating asset equity,determining insurance requirements, and converting calculated asset equity toavailable insurance coverage in accordance with the determined insurancerequirements. The system includes an asset equity calculator for calculatingasset equity, an insurance requirements determiner for determining insurancerequirements, and an asset-equity-to-available-insurance-coverage converterfor converting calculated asset equity to available insurance coverage inaccordance with the determined insurance requirements.
