PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the burden on a serviceman by urging a customer oneself to perform maintenance as much as possible.;SOLUTION: A terminal device 110 to which a manufacturing apparatus 120 as an object of maintenance management is connected and a server device 210 which provides maintenance management service are connected in a two-way communicable state through a network 500. The terminal device sends status information on the apparatus as the object of maintenance management to the sever device at a status information transmission request received from the server device at every specified time. The server device is provided with a status point information management database which stores status points to be generated according to the status information and judges whether the status information is received at every specified time and adds specified points every time it is judged that the status information is received to update status points in the status point information management database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
