INNER-CITY PASSENGER CAR SALES AND SERVICE CENTRE WITH MINIMAL AREA REQUIREMENTS

The invention relates to a motor car sales building comprising a useful area that is sufficient for all functions associated with said purpose. The aim of the invention is to offer services in said building, even close to a city centre, for a justifiable amount of investment expenditure, without having to restrict the useful area or the range of services. To achieve this, all the localities for the different functions are arranged on several floors above one another in a uniform, tower-type building with minimal area requirements, the diameter of the tower at the base measuring approximately four times the length of a passenger car. The vehicle reception is located in the basement. The ground floor is used as a sales area and above it four floors are occupied by the workshop and warehousing area. Above the latter, seven floors are provided as a car park area for the customers' cars. Finally, an office area occupying several floors is provided above the car park area. The logistical communication between the floors is achieved by a vertical conveyer that can be loaded in a circular manner. The workshop and car park areas are configured with a central symmetry.
