The invention relates to a method for analysing macromolecules using a microarray, which consists of several spots in a known arrangement. The invention also relates to a method for producing an analysis device for macromolecules. According to said method, at least one drop of liquid containing at least one type of macromolecule is applied to the surface of a solid body, preferably a chip, whereby the macromolecules have an active group that is activated during a modification of a corresponding external parameter, in order to allow bonding to the surface or to molecules that have already been bonded. The drop is displaced to a desired location on the surface with the help of the transmission pulse of one or more surface sound waves. The external parameter is modified in a homogeneous, non-local manner, permitting the bonding of the macromolecules to form the spot of a microarray, in which macromolecules from the drop of liquid are bonded to the surface. The invention also relates to an analysis device for carrying out the inventive analysis method.
