A METHOD REALIZING DATA RETRANSMISSION IN THE HIGH SPEED MEDIA ACCESS CONTROL LAYER

The present invention discloses a method for realizing PDU data retransmission in High Speed Media Access Control (MAC-HS) layer. The PDU data queues are established in the MAC-HS layer, for storing the PDU data corresponding to the TTL data blocks which have not yet been transmitted successfully in Hybrid Automatic Retransmission Request (HARQ) in the physical layer (PHY); add PDU data retransmission scheduling in the MAC-HS layer, and the scheduling is realized for the retransmitting PDU data and TTI data blocks stored in the PHY which are not transmitted successfully within the HARQ maximum retransmission times. The PDU data packets which are not transmitted successfully beyond the HARQ maximum retransmission times are returned and stored in the retransmission PDU data queues; the PDU data in the PDU data queues is priorly scheduled in MAC-HS layer, and modulated, encoded and sent in accordance to the new channel conditions in the PHY layer. This method can reduce the time dalay in the data retransmission, enhance the performance adaptive to the channel conditions, increase the reliability of the retransmission, whereby to improve the data transmission speed and thuoughput in the system.
