Management architecture for a multi-modular numerical machine or distributed computer network comprising a predetermined maximum number of modules (M1-Mn), where each of the modules has a nonvolatile physical memory (NVM1 - NVMn) in which is stored vital data. The memory is divided into two, (G1-Gx) and (L1-Lx) where the former is network global vital data and the latter is local vital data.
