The invention concerns a method and a device for drawing-bending-planishing a metal strip, in particular a hot- or cold-rolled strip (1), whereby the strip (1) passes through a drawing and bending planishing cage (2) wherein a mechanical pre-scaling process is carried out by deforming the strip (1). The invention aims at promoting collection and elimination of scale scraps (22) and at preventing the contact parts and the strip (1) from being fouled. Therefor, the invention is characterized in that the strip (1) is planished by drawing when passing vertically and, immediately after, is flattened on each of two anti-crossbow rollers (3; 4) located at the lower part.
