摘要
The invention relates to a flow-through scintillation measuring cell and a method for producing a hose for the same. According to the invention, the scintillating material is deposited as a thin layer on the inner surface of a transparent or translucent, heat resistant plastic hose, whereby the material firmly clings to said inner surface. The scintillating material is then liquefied by heating. Afterwards, the hose is filled with the semiliquid, scintillating material by means of pressure or suction. The hose containing the scintillating material is then cooled. In addition, a passage through the hose is created in which the scintillating material is sufficiently heated again and blown out of said hose leaving a residue on the inner wall thereof. As a result, thin films having a thickness of less than 50 νm can be produced. In order to obtain the desired inner coating, a wire can alternatively be inserted at the beginning of the inventive method and pulled out after filling the hose with compacted scintillating material. A measuring cell with the inventive hose has an advantage in that the hose comprises a thin inner diameter of less than 1.5 mm.
