It is intended to provide preparations which are suitable for treating bone fracture or bone loss or preventing bone fracture, can be easily used and achieve a high therapeutic effect. Namely, preparations for treating bone fracture or bone loss or elevating bone density in the form of solid preparations which contain (a) a carrier made of collagen, (b) a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) and (c) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of neutral amino acids, monosaccharides, disaccharides, organic acidic substances and polysaccharides and can be administered by injection; and a method of treating bone fracture or bone loss or elevating bone density which comprises administering such a preparation in an effective dose to an individual with a need for treating bone fracture or bone loss or elevating bone density.
