Use of a combination of fillers and latex particles to increase the sun proctection factor and/or the UVA-protection ability of cosmetic or dermatologic compositions

Combinations of latex particles (with an average size of 100-400 nm) and fillers are used to prepare sand-repellent photoprotective cosmetic or dermatological compositions or to increase the UV-A and/or UV-B protection factor of cosmetic or dermatological compositions containing UV filters and/or broad-band filters. An Independent claim is also included for photoprotective cosmetic or dermatological compositions comprising UV filters and/or broad-band filters and a combination latex particles (with an average size of 100-400 nm) and fillers, provided that the UV protection factor of the compositions is greater than that of similar compositions not containing the combination.
