Light protective cosmetic or dermatological preparations, which in addition to at least one customary UV filter substance and / or a broadband filter substance further substance combinations of (A) at least one kind of latex particles which have an average particle size of 100 to 400 nm, and (B) one or more types of fillers contain, wherein the UV protection performance of these preparations is higher than the same preparations which do not contain any substance combination of (a) and (b).
