A hair styling stick contains a solid, wax-like composition comprising 30-55 weight percent (wt.%) of polyethylene glycol(s) (I) with a molecular weight of 2500-5000 g/mol and at least 15 wt.% of polyethylene glycol(s) (II) with a molecular weight of 370-800 g/mol.
