Method for reinforcing soil of a road with fibrillated polypropylene fibers

PURPOSE: A method for reinforcing road ground is provided to be efficiently applied in various fields such as building land development, road formation on soft ground, recovering of broken road slope by using polypropylene fiber, and/or as a filler revetment. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises an introduction process(S101) to introduce high quality of polypropylene fiber by means of human labor and/or introduction apparatus onto hardened ground; a water spraying process(S102) to supply water on the soil covering the fiber; a hardening process(S103) to make hard the soil layer after the spraying process by means of ramming apparatus such as vibrational roller or tire roller; and a field test process(S104) for examining hardness of the soil section. The polypropylene fiber may be used in any forms of micro-fiber, short fiber or tape fiber having about 2-5cm of length and in a content of 0.3-0.5wt.% relative to the soil material.
