PURPOSE: A survival game device using a GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver and a wireless mobile communication device, and a method therefor are provided to offer an interesting survival game among a plurality of users using a receiver such as a cellular phone having a GPS function and a wireless communication device such as a Bluetooth terminal capable of communicating with the receiver. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(10) measures the whole earth using a radio wave transmitted from a satellite. A mobile communication system(20) transmits information about the position tracking of mobile communication terminals(MP1-MPn) and the position tracking of other game participants to the mobile communication terminals(MP1-MPn) by the communication with the GPS(10). A plurality of mobile communication terminals(MP1-MPn) perform one-to-one data communication corresponding to a plurality of short haul wireless communication terminals(T1-Tn) by the data communication with the GPS(10) and the mobile communication system(20). A plurality of short haul wireless communication terminals(T1-Tn) perform one-to-one data communication corresponding to a plurality of mobile communication terminals(MP1-MPn).
