摘要
PURPOSE: A subscriber-based ringback tone service method for removing a progress tone is provided to judge an error connection before the response of a termination subscriber and offer various ringback tone substitution sounds suitable for the characteristic of the termination subscriber by providing a specific sound registered or selected by the termination subscriber to a caller instead of the conventional progress tone and ringback tone. CONSTITUTION: If a random caller calls a termination subscriber and requests call connection, a corresponding origination MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(31) requests termination location information to an HLR(Home Location Register)(10)(S601). The HLR(10) requests routing information to a termination MSC(32) according to the request(S602). The termination MSC(32) provides routing information i.e., a TLDN(Temporary Local Director Number) to the HLR(10)(S603). The HLR(10) transmits routing information to the origination MSC(31)(S604). The origination MSC(31) requests an ISUP(Integrated Services Digital Network User Part) call connection to the termination MSC(32) on the basis of routing information and configures a mutual channel(S605). The termination MSC(32) requests the ISUP call connection to an IP(Intelligent Peripheral)(50) on the basis of previously stored routing information to configure a mutual channel, provides a termination telephone number and an origination telephone number(S606), and performs a paging for confirming the state of the termination subscriber(S607). The IP(50) requests a sound source code to a IP server(70) on the basis of the termination telephone number and the origination telephone number(S608). The IP server(70) searches a sound source code connected to the termination and origination telephone numbers according to the request, and transmits the searched sound source code to the IP(50)(S609). The IP(50) transmits a substitution sound corresponding to the transmitted sound source code to the caller through the configured channel(S610). If the termination subscriber recognizes the substitution sound while the substitution sound is transmitted, the termination MSC(32) requests an ISUP call release to the IP(50) and the IP releases a call(S611).
