METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY SETTING DEDICATED LINE IN KEY PHONE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for automatically setting a dedicated line in key phone system are provided to supply an inherent board number to a dedicated line board, thereby setting automatically a use of the dedicated line. CONSTITUTION: A first buffer(212) determines a mounting position and mounting existence of dedicated line boards(112-118) according to a sensing signal provided from a first pull-up resistor unit(216). A second buffer(214) determines kinds of dedicated lines connected to the dedicated line boards(112-118) according to a sensing signal provided from a second pull-up resistor unit(218). A control unit(210) performs an MMC function for changing automatically the contents of an S-RAM according to the result provided from the first and second buffers(212,214). A bus(220) transmits input and output data between the first and second buffers(212,214) and the control unit(210).
