PURPOSE: A process of purifying a bamboo extract by collecting and concentrating a liquid discharged during the manufacture of bamboo charcoal in a high temperature loess kiln is provided. Whereby, the bamboo extract is removed from harmful components and used as a beverage and therapeutic drugs. CONSTITUTION: A bamboo extract obtained in the process of manufacture of bamboo charcoal in a high temperature loess kiln is left alone for 6 months or more, the supernatant thereof is absorbed in active carbon and diatomaceous earth and then filtered to produce a filtrate. Thereafter, the filtrate is distilled in a single atmospheric distilling device to produce an initial fraction(about 10% of the total amount of the liquid) having a boiling point of 70 to 90deg.C, a medium fraction(about 80% of the total amount of the remaining liquid after the initial fraction) having a boiling point of 110deg.C, which is used as a purified bamboo liquid in which harmful impurities are removed, and an effluent and distilling residues(about 10% of the total amount of the remaining liquid after the medium fraction).
