The Port-Logistics Monitoring-Control and Traffic Information System Using FM DARC and Mobile Communication

PURPOSE: A harbor logistics control system and a traffic information supply system by using an FM DARC and a mobile communication are provided to effectively control the movement of harbor logistics and to improve the throughput in response to the increasement of the flow amount of the supply of goods. CONSTITUTION: A harbor logistics control system and a traffic information supply system by using an FM DARC and a mobile communication includes the functions of: supplying a character information service(1) to an FM DARC receiver(8) by transmitting the character information service(1) such as a weather, stock, sports, news or the like and DGPS position error correction data(3) to an FM DARC service center(2) by using a conventional FM DARC; perceiving the correct position of a vehicle by the FM DARC receiver(8) incorporated into the vehicle by using the DGPS position error correction data(3) and the GPS position information received from the GPS receiver; transferring the position information corrected in the position information error and the vehicle information to a harbor logistics control center(4) through the wireless communication network(6); constructing the database by data mining the moving distance and position in response to the driving speed and the traffic jam information at the harbor logistics control center(4); and supplying the traffic information together with the harbor logistics information to the vehicle through the FM DARC service.
