A method of cultivating cordyceps based upon a snail or a mud snail

PURPOSE: A method of cultivating Cordyceps sinensis(dongchunghacho, Korean native name) by inoculating Paecilomyces Japonica into a snail or a mud snail as a substrate and then culturing is provided. Whereby, the cultured Cordyceps sinensis has an effect on enhancing stamina by synergistic action of chondroitin contained in the snail or the mud snail and peripheral nerve stimulating material contained in Cordyceps sinensis. CONSTITUTION: Paecilomyces Japonica is inoculated into a snail or mud snail as a substrate and cultured for 15 to 25 days in an incubator in which the temperature, moisture and ray of light are controlled to 23 to 25deg.C, 63 to 67% and 300 to 600Lx respectively to grow mycelia and to germinate fruit bodies thereof. Bioactive material is extracted from the fruit bodies and the substrate.
