PURPOSE: A heat treatment method for phosphorus bronze slab is provided which not only minimizes process loss and working hours, but also improves quality of product by increasing rolling property as performing heat treatment, scalping and coiling operations of phosphorus bronze slab produced from continuous casting in one line process. CONSTITUTION: In a heat treatment method for phosphorus bronze slab continuously produced from horizontal continuous casting, the method for heat treating phosphorus bronze slab(100) comprises a heating process of rapidly high frequency heating phosphorus bronze slab containing 5 wt.% or more of tin (Sn) and having surface temperature of 100 to 150 deg.C obtained from the casting process to a temperature of 700 to 730 deg.C in a high frequency induction heater(16); a temperature maintenance process of maintaining temperature of the heating process for a certain period of time; and a cooling process of rapidly cooling the slab discharged to the outside in a cooling machine(18) by spraying water onto the slab after passing through the temperature maintenance process, wherein the temperature maintenance process is performed at a temperature of 700 to 730 deg.C for 18 to 25 minutes, the cooling process comprises the step of rapidly cooling the slab by spraying water onto a slab heated to a temperature of 700 to 730 deg.C for 1 to 2 minutes, and the high frequency induction heater for heat treating the phosphorus bronze slab is integrally installed in a horizontal continuous casting process line.
