Screen printer apparatus in the process of the flat color cathode ray tube and method thereof

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for printing a fluorescent material on a panel during the flat CRT manufacturing process are provided to improve the lifetime of a screen mask by compressing a screen by taking into account line tact time. CONSTITUTION: A screen mask compression unit is comprised of a ball screw box, a compression tip, and a fixing cylinder and compresses a screen mask(21) which feedbacks a calculated compression amount to a stepping motor fixed to a motor bracket. A panel camera and a displacement measuring unit are comprised of four displacement sensors for measuring a panel(31) and a displacement of the panel(31), a panel camera(7) for determining a position and confirming a size of the panel(31), and a panel cutter ball groove(2). A panel cutter unit is comprised of a screen mask protecting plate(11), a panel thick tolerance cover/reference plate(13), a vacuum suction hole(14), a tilting reference plate(30), an XYZ-axes stage(1), and a Z-axis stage(4). A panel transmitting unit is comprised of a LM(linear motion)(5) for transmitting a panel cutter, a panel cutter up/down LM(17), a motor for rising the panel(31), a timing belt/pulley(19), and a ball screw(20). A squeeze/scraper unit is comprised of two cameras for confirming a size of the screen mask(21), a liquid tank, and a squeeze rubber(22). An appliance unit is comprised of a mask cleaner unit for cleaning the screen mask(21).
