PURPOSE: An electronic control suspension for a vehicle and a control method are provided to control rolling, nose dive or squat of a vehicle optimally by changing the spring constant and damping force of a shock absorber with detecting the position of the vehicle through load cells. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control suspension detects rolling, nose dive or squat of a vehicle during traveling with a detecting unit(10) including a vehicle speed sensor, a steering wheel angle speed sensor, a brake lamp sensor and a throttle position sensor, and stabilizes the vehicle with controlling an operating unit(30) including a spring constant adjustor(32) and a shock absorber damping force adjuster(34). The detecting unit has the vehicle speed sensor detecting travel speed of a vehicle, and load cells(40) placed over the shock absorber and installed in vehicle wheels. The stance of the vehicle is stabilized with controlling the damping force of the shock absorber and the spring constant.
